I said a little prayer for you

And it comes from the heart

I asked God to take care of you 

From the very start


                He promised to protect you each day

                Wherever you may go

                And hold your hand if you go astray

                All the way through


But most of all He'd shower

His blessings upon you

Good friends your way, to share

Who till the end be true
