The author writes this poem seeing the grieving of the family through the last days of Philip Piccola.  He was a kind gentleman, a father of 4 and the loving husband of Irene Piccolo.  The author knows him through a close friend Lynn Malecki working together.  Philip Piccolo was the dear father of Lynn.



It's been a while since we know you
Through your dear daughter Lynn
A loving husband and dad you've been
All through thick and thin

You've been admired for your wisdom 
And your precious sweet smile 
Its truly unforgettable
For the legacy you left behind

God saw you getting tired 
Heaven's gates He opened wide
He put His arms around you
And held you close and tight

A golden heart stopped beating
Hardworking hands He put to rest
Even though you will be dearly missed
He only takes the best

We love you and miss you
And we believe you are happy
You are God's chosen one
A guardian angel to be
