I walked along with a friend
And wished the day would never end
We talked about things both great and small
The laughter and tears, did include it all

Our power of understanding was beyond compare
We needn't express how much we care
At times we argued till the end
But then our differences brought us back again

Silence would speak a thousand words
A smile did brush away all tears
The day was gone, we had to part
Little did we realize when did it start

A strange relationship we share
The moon and the stars, couldn't help but stare
