Title: It Seems Like Ages Somehow

Year: 1995

The author writes this poem to give consolation to those relationships that have misunderstanding and break up for petite reasons before they patch up back again and realized they lost a lot of precious time.

It seems like ages somehow

Since we've drifted away

What happened to our friendship

I thought it would last all the days

We were more than friends

Who understood each other well

Then why should our differences

Be a barrier between us, please tell

We move around like strangers

But I guess strangers do give a smile

What should I name this relationship

Which is now, yours and mine

I thought you understood me well

But little did I know

Your love for him meant more than ours

And so I had to let go

But this bond of friendship

Never will I forget

The love we shared, the tears we've shed

In my heart will remain till death

If it had to be this way, I promise

I wished we'd never met

The pain of separations, though

Would never have to exist

I wish we were friends back again

And that would make my day

But I think its just another dream

Which will come true, one day I pray

Your friendship means much more to me

But if that disrupts you

I promise to go far away and never to come near you

I miss you from the dept of my heart

And I must tell you its true

From the day we did part

I did pray all happiness for you
