As we live our life day by day

With the winds blowing gently away

To know that someone's watching us from above

And makes sure things are right for us


He appointed a guardian angel for each

Who He gave authority to guide and teach

To help us soar like an Eagle above

And yet is calm like the Snow White Dove


To build us when things aren't right

And be that candle to give us light

To hold us when we trip and fall

Before our hopes in life is gone


Should ever my eyes be closed before time

I pray to the Lord Almighty tonight

That He keeps you safe throughout your life

And watch you closely by your side


Give you His wisdom as an everlasting gift

Courage to carry on through the stormy winds

Endless love to pour your hearts out

Peace in your heart endure throughout


And should a tear drop fall from your eyes

I pray your guardian angel be beside you to brighten your skies

To hold your hands and embrace with love

For you are the best and deserve the best of all
