A Tribute to Christaline
A TRIBUTE TO CHRISTALINE
Christaline who is fondly known as Chrissy is the eldest sister of the author. The author remembers the good times with Christaline and keeps her alive in her heart forever. She was not only a sister but also a good friend who gave the author guidance and a listening ear to what she had to say. This poem was written as a tribute to Christaline on her one month anniversary to her heavenly abode.
A Month Without You"
One month has passed, yet tears remain,
For the sister who brought joy and love's sweet refrain.
Your smile, a ray of sunshine bright,
Now shines in memories, a bittersweet light.
In dreams, I see your face so dear,
And wake with longing, and a heart full of tears.
The ache of your absence, a hollowed space,
Echoes with whispers of our laughter, our secret place.
Though you're no longer here, your love remains,
A bond between us, an eternal, unbroken chain.
In the silence, I hear your gentle voice,
Guiding me forward, a heartfelt, soulful choice.
As I navigate this new journey without you,
I hold on to memories, and the love we once knew.
You may be gone, dear sister, but never forgotten,
Forever in my heart, your love, a precious, shining token.
Rest now, dear one, we know you're free,
Your memory, a blessing, a gift to me.
I'll carry you with me, always in my heart,
And cherish the time we had, our love, a work of art.
There will come a day when we will meet again
Where there is only love & laughter and definitely no pain
At the pearly gates when I see your face
I’ll run and hug you in my arms with grace
Oh that face with a smile I’ll see
Never again to part but to live together
In God’s place with glee
Love and Prayers
